We wish everyone Happy Holidays and a wonderful time with your family and friends. The Gaula Valley is covered in snow, and the river is now frozen.
Early December brought a good amount of snow to the lower valley, though the upper regions received noticeably less. With warmer temperatures in the middle of the month, some of the snow has melted, and at the moment there is, on average, less snow than in previous years.
In just five months, we’ll be back on the Gaula. It feels as if we only just left the valley, and we already can’t wait to return to this magical place.
