With the 2026 season behind us, bookings are officially open for 2027. While last season had its challenges, it reinforced our conviction: you will struggle to find a finer exclusive rotation fishery for Atlantic Salmon in Scandinavia—or anywhere else in the world.
Our new beat L4 in very low water. It doesn’t get much better than this
At the Norwegian Flyfishers Club, we have always strived to build the exact rotation fishery we would want to fish ourselves. Historically, the missing piece was having enough beats that perform during low water. We set out to close that gap, and with the strategic addition of our new lower-river beats around Melhus and Lundamo, we have solved it. Landing 60 salmon on these new beats last season, mostly in extremely tricky low-water conditions, proved we made the right move.

These additions aren’t just a low-water insurance policy. Located below the famous Gaulfossen rapids, they massively upgrade our early-season fishery. Packed with holding structure, they offer ideal resting spots for the big, chrome salmon entering the river in late May and early June. The Lundamo beats excel in high water as well, fishing exceptionally well even at flows of 350 m³/s and above.

Crucially, this expanded water allows us to guarantee 18 rods below Gaulfossen right from opening day. Starting in Week 22 (June 1 – June 6, 2027), every guest is guaranteed 24 hours below Gaulfossen, taking all the guesswork out of the opening week. From Week 23 onward, we will guarantee 2–3 sessions per day below the rapids whenever needed.
Combining over 10 km of prime water across the lower and middle Gaula with full-board lodge accommodations or comfortable self-catering country houses, NFC offers an unmatched salmon angling experience.
Vacant rods for the 2027 season are limited—don’t miss your chance to secure your week.
