Time is flying, and we can’t wait to be back on the Gaula River in just a few weeks. Conditions so far are looking very promising. The winter in the Gaula Valley has been cold, but snow levels are lower than in recent years.
If spring arrives as expected, we should see excellent water levels right from the start of the season – along with a real chance of spotting the first salmon already making their way past the Gaulfossen early on.
And even if spring arrives later than usual, we’ve got you covered. With nine beats below the Gaulfossen rapids, we’re able to offer more fishing opportunities than ever before. In addition to our well-known E-beats, we’re especially excited about our new beats in Lundamo, which will further improve our rotation and give you access to even more productive water.

We’re also looking forward to fishing our second season on the Melhus beats, which already proved highly productive last season. As the first non-tidal section of the river, this stretch offers a unique opportunity to target some of the brightest, freshest Atlantic salmon possible.
Our beat in Melhus already produced some nice fish last year
