We’re thrilled to announce a major upgrade to the NFC rotation on the lower Gaula River! Starting in the 2026 season, two new beats will be added to our rotation. They are located just downstream of Lundamo on the left bank of the river.

With these additions, we can now guarantee at least three fishing sessions (18 hours) per day below the Gaulfossen — a huge advantage during the early season, when the salmon are sometimes unable to pass the Gaulfossen rapids.

The new beats are perfect for the fly — from deep holes and large boulders to a nice tailout, offering the ideal structure to stop and hold running fish. Like all beats on the lower river, these will perform well during the later part of the season too.
