The Island.

This Beat is changing a lot every year. You can cross to the island from 150 m³/second at the Gaulfossen. Start at the top of the island using the same lines as in E1. Often, during the later season, this can be a good spot to catch a fresh grilse.

The Upper Pool.

If the water level is too high to cross to the island, the pool just below the bridge is very intersting. You can start fishing next to the container. In high water (from approx. 250 m³/second on the Gaulfossen), the fish are running very close to the bank and a very fast sinking line fished close to our bank is the key to success.
